Max Murphy Trends on Twitter

Within minutes, #MaxMurphy was trending on Twitter after Kaiser Chief’s, Ricky Wilson spun round for Glasgow’s 18 year old on a recent episode of BBC's The Voice.

After appearing on BBC's The Voice with his take on MGMT’s “Electric Feel”, Max Murphy from Glasgow took to social media with record breaking results for this year’s series.

reflexblue helped Max Murphy maximise his social media opportunity by giving him an initial strategy to allow him to engage with his fans effectively. Following this, already @MaxMurphyMusic has a strong following on all major social media platforms and was the first contestant of the series to trend on Twitter!

Max embraced social media from the second he hit our screens, which has gained him a supportive fan base through one appearance on BBC's The Voice. Within a week, Max’s popularity hit national press with a special appearance in The Sun for Valentine’s Day along with mentions in several news articles.

Max is continuing to work on his presence by maintaining his social media interaction with his fans and reflexblue are currently working with him by recording and editing a special cover song requested by one of his fans through social media... keep up to date with our on going work with Max Murphy here.

Recently reflexblue have worked closely with the Women’s Fund for Scotland in the creative development of their brand identity.

The Women’s Fund for Scotland was launched in 2002 and is dedicated to improving lives of women and girls throughout Scotland.

In November, they were re-branded and re-positioned, and have since shown great advancements in their work and opportunities. They have secured sufficient funding to award between 58 and 175 grants in 2014, as well as having recently had the core costs of the Fund covered to secure a more sustainable development for themselves and have gained additional volunteers.

This Fund is a well-loved brand, supported by volunteers and by generous donors who back the development, self-sufficiency and economic and social equality of Scotland’s women.

McVitie's 'Sweeet' New Campaign Goes Well With a Cute Cuppa!

There are two things that bring guaranteed happiness to us that we hold very close to our hearts; cute fluffy animals and yummy biscuits.

McVitie's have a new campaign that aims to communicate the sensation we get when we open a packet of their plain digestives, chocolate digestives or Jaffa Cakes- and oh how we love to do that!

This advert reminds us how such a simple, humble biscuit creates such a warming powerful sensation of happiness- especially if you have a nice cup of tea to dunk with!

Sarah Heynen, marketing director for United Biscuits (wow, what a title), has commented: "We knew that our biscuits have a surprisingly important place in people's lives. People relate to them in a very emotional way. We wanted to bring this feeling to life in a memorable, modern way."

Check the adverts out below. As huge biscuit fans in reflexblue, we say well done to McVitie's… We think it’s pretty ‘sweeet’!
