Merry in Mersey

Manchester last year and Liverpool this year... we definitely know how to celebrate Christmas at reflexblue!

The journey started early on Friday the 13th with us all setting off in our Christmas jumpers and festive hats after we had exchanged our charity shop Secret Santa gifts. From slow cookers to egg holders, to ‘Ride da Riddims’ CDs, it is amazing what you can find for a fiver!

On the first leg of our journey everyone really got into the competitive spirit when we tested our general knowledge with a quiz (some of us had obviously been swatting up before hand!). With our very own private bar and barman we all got in the Christmas spirit.

The second leg of the journey down really brought out some hidden talents! With our very own choir taking over the entire train – luckily people joined in and never booed us – we were soon giving every well known Christmas song a good attempt! However Rickileaks made an appearance once again with this classic "Who knows the first line of 'I'm dreaming of a white Christmas'?". Hm, I wonder, you tell us Ricki!

Arriving in Liverpool it was a quick turnaround to get out for dinner. A lovely meal was had however I think Danny and Ricki who took on the ‘Calzone Challenge’ were left feeling slightly ill after trying to beat it. Look at the size of the Calzone!!!

Danny doesn't look impressed!

We definitely were not short of pubs and bars to head out to and decided to start off in a bar fittingly called Reflex and the night lasted into the early hours of Saturday morning with a few dance offs throughout the night! No doubt about it, there was a few sore heads on the train back up to Glasgow!

Check out our Liverpool album on Facebook for some more photos of the night.
