2013 Christmas Crackers

With 2013 coming to an end, the studio decided to have a discussion about what our favourite adverts have been this year.

John Lewis with their Christmas 'The Bear and the Hare' ad is a particular favourite for many however, there are lots more that you may have forgotten about.

Here’s a few that reflexblue have decided upon:

The adorable moon-walking pony for Three's #DancePonyDance advert really got people talking with the catchy tune and confident little pony dancing in a field. This made for a humorous yet almost heart warming advert which Three should be commended for!

You either love it or hate it! Although this ad received a lot of complaints with its controversial use of neglect mimicking the animal cruelty documentary, it is still a creative ad playing on what the brand best stands for “Love it. Hate it. Just don’t forget it”.

How does he do it?! Volvo's 'The Epic Split' with Van Damme is a fantastic advert being very dramatic showing Van Damme carrying out his famous split between two reversing Volvo trucks to convey how good their dynamic steering is.

This is a funny one from Kmart. ‘Ship my Pants’ was a very witty way to convey that if you can’t find what you want in store it can be shipped to you for free! "I just shipped my bed!"

Another cute one, this time from Evian, shows a group of individuals getting on with their day when their reflection changes into their baby self. The dance moves are great!

Our last favourite takes us back to the Christmas adverts. KFC's 'The Taste that Unites' which is a spoof of the idea that everyone becomes nice at Christmas, is a great catchy sing-along advert that really does cheer you up!

That's just a selection of some of our favourites, what have been your favourite adverts from 2013?
