With the launch of the Scottish government backed Help to Buy mortgage guarantee scheme in Scotland last Friday 27 September, we made sure that Taylor Wimpey would be amongst the first to get the message out to the market.
Being as pro-active as possible we created an e-blast containing a video prior to the scheme launch which allowed us to communicate with Taylor Wimpey's database as soon as the scheme got the go ahead. This was sent out to 13,500 pre-registered Taylor Wimpey customers, achieving a 50% open rate and over 1000 click thru's. There was a great success and as result the video is now the top performing video on YouTube when you search for Help to Buy Scotland.
We followed up with an SMS campaign for Taylor Wimpey, receiving 150 leads within half an hour of the text being sent out.
